This song is sung to the tune of "Have you Ever Seen a
Lassie"

Did You Ever See A Bunny?

Did you ever see a bunny, a bunny, a bunny
Did you ever see a bunny that hops so slow
He hops, and hops, and hops, and hops
Did you ever see a bunny that hops so slow

Have the kids act out the hops in a circle. Then
repeat:

Did You Ever See A Bunny? - Song - Sung to Did You Ever
See A Lassie?

Did you ever see a bunny, a bunny, a bunny
Did you ever see a bunny that hops so FAST
He hops, and hops, and hops, and hops
Did you ever see a bunny that hops so FAST

Speed up the hopping. Make sure you put bunny ears on
to do this (fingers at the head)

Ten Little Easter Bunnies

Ten little Easter bunnies with colored eggs so fine,
One hopped away and then there were nine.
Nine little Easter bunnies with ears so straight,
One hopped away and then there were eight.
Eight little Easter bunnies, as white as clouds in heaven,
One hopped away and then there were seven.
Seven little Easter bunnies with baskets made of sticks,
One hopped away and then there were six.
Six little Easter bunnies with smiles so alive,
One hopped away and then there were five.
Five little Easter bunnies with bonnets from the store,
One hopped away and then there were four
Four little Easter bunnies feeling so free,
One hopped away and then there three.
Three little Easter bunnies with coats like new,
One hopped away and then there were two.
Two little Easter bunnies playing in the sun,
One hopped away and then there was one.
One little Easter bunny, ready for some fun,
She hopped away and then there were none.

I have done this many times over the years with both preschoolers and my own
kids. Cut or tear tissue paper into small pieces( about a 1" square) works
fine but any size is ok. Hard boil some eggs. Place them in a bowl of
water,
taking one at a time, cover with tissu paper. Place in egg carton. May
need
to dip your finger in water or the paper to make them stick. When dry, peel
off the paper. They come out gorgeous.

Plaster Eggs
Materials:
Large plastic Easter eggs
water
spoons
petroleum jelly, such as Vaseline
plaster of paris
large bowls
tape
markers or temperal paint

What to do:
Cut off a small part of the bottom half of each plastic egg with a sharp
knife
to make a hole (teacher does before the activity). Have children rub the
inside of the two halves of the plastic egg with petroleum jelly. Children
tape the two egg halves together. Following instructions on box, mix plaster
of paris with water in a large bowl. Have children pour wet plaster in the
hole in their eggs using spoons (small pitchers and funnels may be helpful).
After filled have children tap eggs to remove air bubbles and place eggs in
carton to dry and harden. When plaster is completely hard remove tape and
remove plaster egg. Decorate with paint or markers.

I make mini baskets out of the plastic bathroom cups. Glue a coffee filter
on them and punch holes on each side, place a pipe cleaner for the handle.
They can color the filter before gluing on or you can buy stickers, cut out
foam objects to glue on there. Fill with Easter grass and jelly beans. My
kids loved making these. Happy Easter in advance.
